The wraith of shadows called himself Wiseman and felt that he earned that title in more than one way. He considered himself the true leader of the dark genie rebelion, but preferred to let the others consider himself to be merely an advisor and supporter of their leadership. He knew that the head that sought the crown was uneasy, especially among their backstabbing company. It was much safer to rule from the shadows behind the throne.
Likewise he also knew better than to fight his own battles. After all That was what mind controlled minions were for. With that in mind he immediately levitated out of immediate reach of the children.
However, some things were expected of an evil overlord, so before teleporting to his hidden lair, he delivered a parting speach. "You may have won this battle, Ringbearer, but Queen Beryl will win the war. When you least expect it, she will strike through one you trust!"
Let them chew on that piece of misdirection, Wiseman smirked as he phased through Ranma's leap then teleported away. Paranoia was such a truly useful psychological weapon and it never hurt to make them expend their efforts against the wrong target at the same time. When they least expected, he would strike from the shadows. He would... would...
Where on Earth am I now!? Wiseman raged as he realised that he had not teleported to his secret lair, and lost control of his morph. Damn you Ry-anma, this is all your fault..!
Ryoga looked down in alarm as he realised that he was floating in mid air. Then gravity realised that Ryoga couldn't do that and protested. Ryoga's attempts to master the art of flying by flapping his arms produced a spectacular lack of sucess.
