World Watching(EVA): Shinji Ikari reloaded [Episode 22600]
by Jamil Nate
Since this was an Evangelion timeline, The Thrid Children, Shinji Ikari, was the key to how events would go (despite what Asuka, SEELE or Gendo Ikari would say if they heard of this theory).
The Watcher of Worlds' attention focused on a world where Shinji Ikari was not the spineless wimp we all know and love (yeah, right...) but someone potentially greater, with a good shot at avoiding third impact. That came from the fact that Shinji was involved into a crossover element.
Satisfied with his choice, the cosmic spectator sat back in his chair, made a drink and a bowl of popcorn appear and watched the story unravel before his eyes...
-
Shinji Ikari doesn't come alone to Tokyo-3. His retrieval business partner, Midou Ban is here, as well. Gendo will find manipulating the former Thunder Emperor of the Infinite Fortress more difficult than anticipated (Get Backers).
-
Second Impact broke the Seal. Kyo Kusanagi and Chizuru Kagura died without heirs. The Orochi is reborn and Shinji is his mortal vessel! Caught between angels and a fallen god, is the world doomed!? (King of Fighters).
-
When he was a kid, Shinji got involved in a great adventure (Digimon, Yugi-Oh, Dragon Drive, etc...). Can this experience serve him in the trials to come?
-
Yui Ikari wanted the best for her son and made him a coordinator. Years later, NERV finds it difficult to recruit Shinji as he is now a soldier of ZAFT who's at war with Earth and 'natural' humans! (Gundam SEED).
-
Thanks to a surviving Jedi master/knight or a Holocron, Shinji walks the path of the Jedi (or is it the Sith?) (Star Wars).
-
If you have other crossover ideas, do not be shy and follow the Something Else here!
