Yes?
Can I still do the same things I used to be able to do?
Can you be more specific?
I don't want to go out to hurt them and then find I can't pull out a Dragon Ascension. What special manuevers can I pull out?
As you say, the differing past has added a few elements not present in the original universe. For example, one of your rivals within that crowd is now a ninja who is attempting to become a reknowned pokegirl master in order to earn recognition.
Ninja?
Modern derivation of a more historic role. A specialized type of martial artist within the framework of this world. Such individuals are associated with a corporation, clan, or village-association. Naruto Uzumaki is one associated with a village, who has encountered you in the past, and has declared you his rival to be defeated. Within martial arts rivalries, his is somewhat more friendly than the typical one you have with Ryoga Hibiki while still being somewhat antagonistic. He has recently acquired his first pokegirl and is here to challenge you and share special manuevers in the hopes you will both get stronger. Though currently the rumors about you being homosexual are concerning to him as he doesn't want those rumors being applied to him as it might hurt his chances with specific pokegirls.
"Well," whispered Ranma aloud, "I'll just have to develop a reputation that puts rumors down pretty fast, won't I?"
Ranma started walking towards the front of the house, gathering his chi. It was odd, there seemed to be more of it than he remembered. He also didn't remember it being dark red.
Current special manuevers: Speed techniques: Chestnut Roasting, Accelerato. Chi techniques: Hiryuu Shoten Ha, Mouko Takabisha, Juuton Kanadzuchi
'Ten Ton Hammer'?
Something you learned during your last sparring match with Naruto Uzumaki, a chi-enhanced punch that you can pull off due to better control than Uzumaki. By using the technique at the point of impact, your apparent kinetic energy is vastly amplified.
I'll have to use that just so I can see it in action. I can use it with a bat?
Yes.
"Ranma," interrupted Miyo. "Permission for your pokegirls to put buffs on?"
"Knock yourselves out," said Ranma as he continued forward, not understanding what a 'buff' was and thinking it might be something like makeup.
Setsuna and Miyo smiled at each other. Setsuna's was more predatory, oddly enough considering how Miyo was more foxlike in appearance.
Miyo's hands danced through several hand-seals. "Cloak Of The Shinigami"
Setsuna held two fingers to her forehead, then held the other hand out towards Ranma. "Barrier Jacket. Preparing Haste."
"Hmph," said Naruto frowning at all this fuss and bother.
He took the pokeball out of his pocket, considering things. He didn't like putting the girl in her pokeball, but she didn't seem to have a lot of stamina and he certainly couldn't afford bus fare for two.
He'd found the pokeball where it had been discarded outside a manor. When he'd released the contents, he hadn't actually expected anyone.
The pokegirl had been distraught and it had taken him a few days to calm her down. She might have been a disappointment to her father and family, but she was going to be a great pokegirl with him training her!
He considered it briefly before deciding to release her. Maybe she could make more sense of this stuff. He was kind of lost.
Hinata popped out of the pokeball and settled into her basic fighting stance as she looked around for an opponent.
While it looked as if a fight were going to commence soon, it didn't seem as if there was any focus on her or her Trainer at this time.
She was a basic pokegirl, of not much power. Not nearly so useful as her sister Hanabi. She'd failed to evolve or adapt to a more powerful form. She'd been discarded as trash.
It had taken some time before she realized that the boy who'd salvaged her valued her. No doubt he'd get someone more competent and useful once he had gotten more experience, but for now - she was valued for not only her ability to shield him - but for her noncombat skills and education.
The door opened to the Tendo home, and Ranma stepped out.
The Killing Intent rolled out from the young man as he walked forward, causing questions to die on lips and reporters to check their forward motion and come to an uncertain stop. Where they had expected a lamb to sacrifice to their ratings gods, they had gotten a wolf. An ANGRY wolf.
People backed away, some scrambling backwards. A few tripped and scrambled backwards as quickly as they could anyway. Several of the Cameragirls wet themselves or simply froze in fear as those blue eyes swept past them.
One girl breathed out a word and brought her arms up in an "X" to block the technique from her and her young Trainer.
"Lo, thus the foul sorcerer finally sees fit to face me in battle."
Krick krack went Ranma's knuckles as he tensed and relaxed his fists.
"Kuno. You are an idiot. You have always been an idiot. THIS though. This is a Darwin Award. You're going to have to wait though. There's someone else I have to kill first. You're just a flake, an idiot, and just plain nuts. You're not important enough for 'crush Kuno' to be on the top of my 'to do' list."
