Naruto pouted for seven seconds. "So a really cool sword?"
Oh, that's do-able. For example, there's this.
KA-CHING!
Naruto gulped and backed away from the black sword that had just dropped down out of nowhere and imbedded its tip into the floor.
That would be your zanpakuto if we went that route. Typical basic fantasy two-handed sword in some respects, razor sharp, capable of slicing up supernatural entities - including ones that normally have no physical body. Also typical of shonen series - you'd be able to upgrade its capabilities by changing its form.
"Oh?" asked Naruto, reaching for the blade only for it to evaporate before he could grab it.
Then there's this.
KA-CHANG!
Naruto finished skidding backward on the floor and counted his fingers. Yeah, still there.
A summoning contract that would allow you to summon forth one of the Twelve Swords. To make it less useful, you'd only be able to summon randomly with your mental state at the time having some influence. Great concern for another might get you Woundhealer, confusion for Coinspinner, a great need to impress someone might get you the Mindsword, and so on and so forth.
As that sword evaporated, Naruto began looking wildly about and therefore saw the next one appear and was able to dodge this one in advance.
A sword made by the smith Weyland at the end of his days. It has no name, and its power depends on its wielder, but it was forged in the name of smiting evil and has the power to burn evil where it finds it.
Naruto got ready to dodge again as that sword faded out, only to find a small gemstone coming down instead.
That came out of a very alternate universe off of the Elemental Gelade spoke. With it bonded to you, you can take the hand of any girl and contract with her.
"Eh? You mean -" asked Naruto.
Yes, if the girl is willing and you contract with her - she can become a weapon with elemental powers in your hands. I think Tenten would make a nice kusari-gama, don't you?
"Eh?" repeated Naruto.
Or maybe an elegant halberd? Something stabby, I'd think would make her happy. Maybe Hinata could make for a dark ninjato or pair of jitte? Sakura could end up a nice staff or maybe a tetsubo.
"Eh?" asked Naruto. "Girls turning into weapons?!"
Yes, and back again of course. Depending on their chakra levels as to how long they could hold that form.
"That'd be too weird," said Naruto. Though the idea of being able to connect with a girl to such a level was interesting. In the scene he was looking at, his image was wielding Hinata-ninjato with a ghostly image of Hinata behind him.
That would be so odd though.
