"Take it like a man," advised his father, sounding quite amused.
"My son is such a playboy," said his mother, sounding fairly amused herself.
"I can't get married, I'm eleven! I'm still in the Academy and having to fight Sasuke every day!" complained Naruto.
"You're not getting married until you're sixteen or make jonin," said Minato. "Engaged is another matter altogether."
Naruto sulked.
"Well," said Kushina. "Look at it this way. You're beating Sasuke. He's only got seven fangirls."
"Yes, and they're fangirls," pointed out Mikoto. "Really, couldn't he get at least one with useful skills?"
"Well, there's the Yamanaka girl," pointed out Kushina. "She has a number of the Yamanaka clan techniques. Now if she could just stop trying to impress the boy with her fashion sense and more with her ninjutsu..."
Mikoto Uchiha dryly made a couple of tsks as she adjusted a stitch. "She has a head for fashion, too bad it's useless for anything else."
Naruto continued to sulk as the Uchiha head-maid finished with his kimono.
"After the omiai you can go off and get to her know her better, do some training and such," said Kushina.
Naruto sighed, feeling very put upon.
"Wow, Tsunade, I just heard. Congratulations."
Tsunade blinked at the gamblers smiling and nodding in her direction. "Uhm. What?"
"You're now in charge of procurement for Naruto Uzumaki's harem," said the boss of the gamblers as he took a jug of sake and began pouring. "Amazing. I hear the kid is protesting every step of the way, of course. But that's a lot of responsibility on your head."
"I what?" asked Tsunade.
"Did I mention I've got a little girl?" asked the Yakuza, smiling at the legendary sucker.
"I did NOT agree to any such thing," said Tsunade.
"Of course not," agreed the Yakuza with a wink. "You know, I've been approached by several fathers concerned for their daughters."
"Very concerned," said a guy with lots of facial scars.
"A father must look out for his daughters," opined another scarred Yakuza.
"Exactly," said the boss, placing a cup of rice wine on the table near an empty seat. "Some even, or so I've heard, have bloodline abilities. Doing so outside of the villages, well, that's a death sentence many times. So... can we talk?"
