Time-line after Great Will possession.
After first steps took from mother and home (let's say Ranma is around 2 years old here)
6 years old; meets and befriends Ukyo, Genma does the Cat-fist/Nekoken training after leaving Ukyo behind. Due to the Kuonjis' and authorities' pressure leave for China early.
2 months shy of 7; Because the Saotomes are traveling in the reverse plan through China Jusenkyo is one of the first stops to improve Ranma's balance. Ranma falls into Zoihunyankongjiawaichianichuan they don't notice as the body doesn't look any different. Guide thinks nothing happened as Ranma doesn't look like a space alien, and he didn't see Ranma fall into a spring. Couple days later Ranma runs back to Genma panicking about something missing, Genma responds if it was important Ranma should have kept track of it better.
7-10; Training in China and returning to Japan without too many problems with the locals. Ranma's hair gradually lightens to the bright red of the anime.
11; Genma is forced to send Ranma to school while training at a dojo for a few months, meets Ryoga.
11.5; after 3 months in school the Saotomes move on for other dojos. Ranma starts female puberty.
11-16 Various dojo and training grounds. Genma freaks-out at first but soon sees that Ranma will need almost complete retraining in boy form, too much time and effort to do that so, decides that its fine so long as Nodoka doesn't find out. (Actually can't force Ranma to do much as physically she is much stronger than him now)
16 Last stop Tendo Dojo. Ranma is being offered to undergo Supermans training. Genma is not pleased but understands of more training. Ranma runs into Nodoka and is accepted as her child, Genma gets punished.
