There was a girl on his table. Sort of. If you got past the fact that she was missing one arm and both legs, that there were chunks of her missing. Yeah, other than that, there was a dead girl on his table.
The eyes snapped open.
"YAGHHHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Keiichi, who turned and ran again. Only for a few minutes to pass with him slowly edging back into the room.
Eyes tracked his approach.
"Uhm, are you okay?" asked Keiichi finally, despite noting that the level of damage indicated that the robot-girl was NOT okay.
Eyes locked onto him, and he noticed that only one pupil reacted by shifting size.
"Language: Ancient Japanese," said the robot-girl. "State identity, please."
"Me?" asked Keiichi, swallowing nervously and telling himself that the robot could NOT get up and go on a rampage calling for the death of organic lifeforms. Not in that current shape. "Keiichi Morisato."
The robogirl nodded slightly at that. "Acknowledged. I am KOS-MOS. Help me, Keiichi Morisato."
"Morisato! What are you doing with... a... girl?" Tamiya went from roaring in (mostly feigned) outrage to sputtering to a stop.
"Robotics project," said Keiichi, inspecting a shoulder connector.
"Oh," said the various assembled tech-heads.
"Good evening," said the robot.
"Uhm, hello," said Tamiya.
"This dorm is 'no girls allowed' but she's a girl robot," noted Ootaki. Robots were okay, girls were not okay, so... half-okay?
"Right, can we keep this a secret for now guys?" asked Keiichi, one hand raised in a plea gesture.
"I guess... don't want anyone stealing from us," said Tamiya, a little more certain about that. Though he was still undecided about the whole robot vs girl thing. Working on machines - not only okay but required. Playing around with a girl's body - very much not okay. Repairing a girl? Tamiya decided his head was going to hurt if he tried to puzzle this one out.
