KOS-MOS observed the television that had been left on for her. Children's educational programming was intended to be instructive on language and cultural issues, and so was full of useful data.

KOS-MOS tilted her head slightly as she observed the fuzzy entity proclaim his love for small hand-sized baked goods of a variety called "cookies" and wondered what lesson this was meant to convey.
A commercial for internet services came up, and KOS-MOS considered the information it provided carefully.

Keiichi was a little distracted. Leaving the robot-girl in his room while he attended classes was inevitable, but that didn't mean he didn't regret that necessity or worry about people coming by and abducting the girl.
What could he do though?
Other than make a list of parts and accessories he could use to try bringing the robo-girl up beyond her currently crippled status. With only one functional arm as a limb - it would be difficult for her to do much of anything.
...and where did Ootaki get a maid uniform for her to wear anyway? Though Keiichi found he didn't really want to think about that part, it falling into territory he didn't want to explore.
Well, whatever the case, he had to finish class then hit the machine shop. He'd already sketched out a basic robotic limb that looked suitably robotic - it was just a matter of building the overall structure and then figuring out how to tie it into the rest of the systems.
KOS-MOS would have frowned over the slow connection speed and primitive computers she was interfacing with. Still, for her first full day in this area - it was a good start.
