Names were acquired via the news agencies and police records. Yakuza were listed as having illegally acquired large amounts of wealth. Yakuza were now discovering that their internet security systems were the equivelant of a newborn infant.
The money was then sent on a journey that took it from one set of banks to another, through six countries with dummy accounts in each, and then eventually to an account she could access. Rebuilding her would take material resources, which would be expensive. It would also require equipment which the Nekomi Motor Club did not have access to.

Vector Industries, Nigeria.
Experimental technologies focus.
KOS-MOS blinked every 7.4 seconds, keeping her visual receptors clear of dust, as she otherwise remained motionless as she worked.
Seven (7) patent lawyers found that will handle electronic data and through mail for foreign clientele.
Contacting first...
KOS-MOS didn't need to frown as she encountered a hurdle. Papers would need to be signed, and in this particular country required a signature stamp called a hanko. That was a little trickier to manage as she could electronically form an identity, but physical artifacts of that existence were not so easy to manage. Nor was she mobile enough to manage a secondary residence.
Ryoichi Watanabe, patent lawyer.
Initial research complete. High probability of success.
Background check adequate. Flaws include an obsession regarding sterilization of nearby surfaces, possibly indicating a compromised immune system or phobia regarding bacteriological infection.
Letter of intent sent.
KOS-MOS made a webpage for the Nekomi Tech Motor Club, allowing herself 0.45 seconds of surprise that they didn't already have one. Then using access to the school's database to get the appropriate names and files to set up individual sub-pages. The information there would be sparse, and she'd have to get more data to set up e-mail accounts on everyone but Keiichi or to link their existing e-mails to their pages. The data was simply not available.
The Motor Club did races. Searching on such events brought up reams of data which did not make a great deal of sense to her, but human activities often did possess a fair amount of such.
Race Queen seemed a potential role for her within such a group. Unfortunately, she would have to acquire three human-styled limbs that could withstand close inspection for such a role.
Returning to the website of the patent lawyer and logging in, KOS-MOS discovered that she would indeed need to sign papers delivered via courier or mail in order to acquire such services.
