"Nekomi Tech Motor Club has an industrial sponsor? How the heck did that happen?"
"No idea. 'Vector Industries'? Never heard of 'em."
"Whatever, just be grateful all the paperwork's filled out. Whoever these guys are, you gotta give 'em that."
"I didn't even know the Motor Club had a website. Look at this, they got little motorbikes running along the borders."
"Dang! That's fancy. Must have one of those web-whackers in the club this year."
"That's 'hackers' and I don't think so."
"It all seems to be in order, I'll just drop the okays by their clubhouse."
"Now? None of them will be there."
"..."
"Right. Gotcha."
KOS-MOS watched carefully as the various Yakuza groups discovered their missing funds, began trying to trace it, and apparently decided that the most obvious culprit was the correct one.
A small Yakuza group specializing in electronic forms of criminal activity was very quickly targetted by basically everyone else.
In the meantime, there was the considerable amount of money with which to manage.
Ah, this was necessary as well.
"What's this?" asked Otaki. "Corporate sponsor? We got a corporate sponsor?"
"Hmph," grunted Toraichi Tamiya. "Someone must have seen us race."
"I think it more likely that they DIDN'T see us race," said Sora, though mostly under her breath.
Keiichi yawned as he entered his apartment, giving out a "tadaima" as he remembered that he had a guest.
"Welcome back," answered the one-armed girl.
"Anything happen today?" asked Keiichi as he put away school things.
"Yes, I require your assistance," said KOS-MOS. "The courier should have delivered cleaning supplies downstairs. My appearance has degraded 13% and requires maintenance."
