On the one hand, it was like bathing a pretty girl. On the other hand, it was like washing and polishing a car.
In support of the first case, typical cleansers one might expect were being used. The cleansing body wash was pretty much off the shelf and had a nice clean scent.
In support of the second case, he was having to be careful around the jagged edges where her legs ended in stumps.
"You are hesitant," said KOS-MOS. "Your calculated strength at maximum pressure will be insufficient to cause damage and will remove some of those stubborn stains."
"It's just... that is," said Keiichi, trying to explain.
KOS-MOS craned her neck around to regard him, her eerie red eyes not blinking. "Analysis of hand location indicates unfamiliarity with female body types."
"You can say that again," muttered Keiichi.
"Statement was of sufficient volume. Was statement unclear?"
"That's... not it so much," said Keiichi. "It's because, that's because it's not right for a girl to be bathed by a guy."
"I see. Keiichi. If you are not capable of performing this task due to societal taboo, is there a member of Nekomi Tech Motor Club capable of doing so?" asked KOS-MOS.
Keiichi wondered exactly how he would put this to Sora without it coming off as completely perverted.
"Package for Nekomi Tech Motor Club."
"What are we supposed to do with this stuff?" asked Toraichi Tamiya.
"I dunno," admitted Hikozaemon Otaki.
"Honestly! Just stay out of my way, and DON'T TOUCH THAT!" exclaimed Sora Hasegawa as she found that she just couldn't watch ANOTHER piece of high tech equipment end up broken and tossed in the trash.
The two larger guys froze as Sora went from meek mouse to icon of feminine wrath. Pint-sized icon of feminine wrath perhaps, but still having the wrath part down.
"Do you two have any idea how much that stuff costs?!" asked Sora. "We got a corporate sponsor! That sponsor is going to expect us to USE this stuff!"
"But... I don't even know what it is," pointed out Otaki.
"Look, this is a parts fabricator!" said Sora, rescuing the device from the horror that was Tamiya's hands. "You put the resin matrix in here and the fabber takes the stuff and makes plastic parts based on what the computer tells it to do."
"Uhm, the computer that's..." Otaki pointed to the trash bin.
"YES! Do you have any idea how much THAT cost?!" exclaimed Sora, somehow managing to loom over someone twice her size. "Get it OUT of the trash bin! We've got to find someone to fix it!"
"At least we know how to use these," said Tamiya, turning his attention to the box with the radio headsets.
The phone started ringing.
Toshiyuki Aoshima noticed the delivery van in front of the Motor Club headquarters, and frowned ever so slightly.
That group was a joke, though they did manage to place respectably every so often.
Still, while he'd been flirting with this soon-to-be conquest - he'd seen two such vehicles arrive and drop off packages.
Well, it was sure to be nothing important. Not so much as this pretty little diversion before him.
