KOS-MOS inclined her head slightly as she considered the possibilities this would gather. She was not particularly well versed in Earth history nor technical details herself, yet she was not helpless in this environment.
Unfortunately, with only one arm functional, repairs were going to take considerable time. Tech of this era was woefully inadequate but would have to do. Existing self-repair nanobots would then be able to begin upgrading those parts.
KOS-MOS inclined her head as an e-mail came into her newly-established Vector Industries account. Which was from Sora_Hasegawa, stating that the main computer had been dropped and needed repairs to function.
KOS-MOS blinked as she shut down all "internet" functions and began the process of shutting herself down into a rest state.
Time was needed before the next step could take place. Eventually she would need to move from this dormitory to the Nekomi Motor Club headquarters, but she wanted those uprated before she was placed within. It would be a significant setback if there were attempts to apprehend and dissect her while her combat parameters were so low. Therefore the move would have to wait until all necessary upgrades, such as re-wiring, had taken place.
Sora was concerned. Not because she'd gone ahead and blown up at her two sempai. No, it was because of what they were doing now - that concerned her. It concerned her greatly.
Because what they were doing was sparkling.
"Ohhhhh," said Hikozaemon Otaki, his pose like a Middle School girl confronted with something unbearably cute. "A Shop Fox M1109 12 x 30-Inch Combo Lathe/Mill! It's... beautiful!"
"That's nice," admitted Toraichi Tamiya. "Yet behold the accompanying drill press! Such clean lines, and adjustable to drill from a variety of angles!"
"Sweet!" said both Tamiya and Otaki as they hugged the new tools.
"Okay, fine," eventually said Sora, making a waving-off gesture with one hand. "It's getting late and you two have been hugging those for over an hour. Let's get things fixed tomorrow."
