So now he was standing in an apparently deserted village, looking at a giant metal statue that the village had apparently been built around, and wondering who the heck had such blindingly bad taste that they'd designed such a thing. Not to mention those who built the village around such a creepy thing.
If it had been standing, it would have been over a hundred feet tall. Purple and neon green. With a horn on its face.
It also had a carpet of moss on it.
Naruto looked at it from several angles, using a Levitation spell to do so. Finally he gave up as the thing just looked seriously creepy from just about any angle.
He considered using it for target practice, but eventually just shrugged and went about looking for the real priority. Food.
Naruto was a civilian. Having been failed from the Academy, he was not considered a ninja of the Leaf Village. Therefore he could NOT be missing-nin.
This was duly ignored by several people within the village who wanted him to be declared a missing-nin.
Of course, Toltiir was involved. A god of mischief couldn't let things get boring just because one of the original Team 7 was off having his own adventure, could he?
Iruka Umino looked over the faces of his young graduating genin and couldn't help but feel a sense of loss for one who was NOT present. Well, his job was over as far as these genin were concerned - and he'd have a new class in less than a week.
"Team 7," began Iruka. "Sasuke Uchiha. Sakura Haruno..."
