"Lord Gaav, I have some information on Zelgadis," Mazenda said.
"Go on?"
"Apparently he was rescued from a group of bounty hunters by a group that has one member claiming to be an Overworlder Shinzoku. Another of the group is apparently the Dragon Spooker. In my humble opinion Lord Gaav, I do not believe that Zelgadis or any associated with him have anything to do with Hellmaster."
"I see. A useful group that can be used. Now if there is any connection between Princess Amelia and Zelgadis, we might be able to make use of it."
Another Mazoku walked in to give his report. Looking at him, Gaav nodded.
"So Kanzeil, what's the report on Princess Amelia?"
Kanzeil rubbed his hands on his legs nervously before begining.
"Zelgadis and company have made it in to see Amelia without too much difficulty."
"How did they get past all the guards."
Shuddering Kanzeil replied, "Naga the White Serpent. The girl who is always following Lina Inverse around turned out to have another name."
Raising an eyebrow, Gaav flatly asked, "And that name is?"
"Gracia ul Naga de Seyruun. The oldest daughter of Prince Philionel."
"What?! That set our plans back."
"I do have some good news to report. Prince Phil's brother Randy has been arrested and his scheme to overthrow Phil with the aid of Mazoku from one of the other Lords has been laid bare. It turns out that he was the one who set the assassin on Prince Phil's wife."
Gaav nodded. "Might have been Dynast's. According to what Mazenda has reported, one of Zelgadis' group claims to be a Shinzoku."
Kanzeil shuddered and said, "I have seen him and he is a Shinzoku from the Overworld. His name is Sirius and he is quickly defusing the situation regarding Princess Amelia. He is taking responsibilty for her sudden growth of power. The responsibilty, not the credit. Apparently, he has some sort of mission involving some people. I am not sure exactly what though."
"I see. Anything else?"
"Bounty hunters are still chasing after Zelgadis and his two followers, but nothing is on the other five as of yet. I doubt that Naga or Gracia will have one put on her. Two of the bounty hunters are already pestring Prince Phil's advisors. A swordsman by the name of Zangulus and a wizard by the name of Vruumugun. The military board believes that the kingdom of Xoana is going to attack Seyruun."
Gaav hummed to himself quietly.
Mazenda spoke. "My lord, I'm sorry. I forgot to mention something. The group that rescued Zelgadis claimed that Rezo the Red Priest was possesed by a Mazoku. The various bounty hunters are laughing at that , thinking the group is completely deranged and that Sirius is just some nutball wizard. However....."
"Sirius is a Shinzoku," Gaav completed. "It is a possiblity that Rezo is possesed."
Another Mazoku appeared inside the cave.
"Seygrum, what do you have report?"
"My Lord, the wizard Halcyform has just been banished from Atlas City on suspicion of Immortality research. I'm about to approach him to see if it's true. He might prove useful in taking over Atlas."
"Good. Anything else?"
Gaav got the impression that if Seygrum could smile he would be doing so. "Yes, my Lord. Somehow, someone stole the Demon Blood Talismans from Zelas Metallium. The entire Mazoku race is an uproar over it."
Gaav chuckled. "That is a person with a lot of nerve. Keep an eye out for the talismans all of you. That person will be very useful. Mazenda, you are now assigned to watch over the Shinzoku. Don't let him see you. Now, get back to your respective assignments."
"Yes, Lord Gaav."
As the three Mazoku warped away, Gaav looked out his magic window and chuckled to himself.
"Didn't see that one comming did you, Hellmaster? I have to respect anyone who could steal something like that from a Lord. As to the Shinzoku, he must have some goal that deals with his world and needs something from certain people of this world.
