Genma the Genius: The Saotome Twins at Jusenkyo [Episode 24652]

Genma walked alongside the chinese guide, listening to the whistling behind him. 'Ranma' he thought to himself. 'Ronri doesn't whistle very often, and it's always more precise'

"Here we are, mister customers," the guide commented as he pointed to where the path through the steep hills suddenly opened to reveal a plain covered by pools of water, many with long bamboo poles sticking out of them. "The ancient Training Ground of Cursed Springs, Jusenkyo."

"Hmm, doesn't seem terribly unusual, I have to admit." Ronri commented.

"Well, the layout isn't anything spectacular, but that lighting effect is prety impressive." Ranma commented stroking his chin.

"Lighting effect?" Ronri commented looking questioningly at Ranma.

"Ahem," The guide said turning toward the pair. "There tragic story to every spring."

"Ah, one of those thinks only you say you can see." Ronri commented with a smirk.

Ranma scoweled at his brother. "Yes, one of those things that Mr. See-Thru-Walls is too blind to spot."

Ronri frowned, looking his brother in the eye.

"Boys!" Genma called loudly.

"Ah, father," Ronri sheepishly responded as he turned from his brother.

"Eheh, not the right time right pops?" Ranma commented, turning toward Genma while raising a hand to sheepishly scratch the back of his hand.

"No, I think it's probably a very good time for some mid-air training, boys."

"Allright!" Ranma commented with a big grin as he crossed his hands in front of him and took a deep breath in preperation.

"I have to agree with the sentiments, brother." Ronri commented with a slight smile as he turned toward his twin.

"Um, you should listen to tragic story," the guide said in an uncertain voice as he looked at the pair.

Ronri leaped into the air, and stoped about fifteen feet up. Floating in the general direction of the springs, he looked down at Ranma. "Anytime your ready."

Ranma pulled his fists, his voice rising wordlessly as energy erupted around him. Like a bullet from a rifle he shot off the ground toward his brother.

'Ok, watch carefully. What I wouldn't give for a good high speed camera, not to mention a full range emission detector kit.' Genma thought to himself as he observed the pair who were now battling in the sky overhead. Ronri had been the first to take flight, as so often happened with the twins. There had been no warning, just one day he had discovered he could fly. Which had prompted Ranma to begin thinking, inventing a variety of bizare traning methods, and finally coming up with a way to fly himself.

Their methods differed in more than source. Ronri's flight power was a great deal simpler and gave him an incredible level of control, which Ranma had been trying to think of a way of matching for nearly a year. Of corse Ranma's magicly enhanced durability and strength meant that he was able to hit Ronri harder, even considering his habitual restraint on his magic to the level that Ronri had managed to develop a resistance beyond his kryptionian forcefield.

The guide shook off his suprise and called up to the two fighting teens, "Please, very bad you fall in spring!"
