One, as a ninja-trained girl from a ninja village, she was of an uncertain position within the hierarchy. Most of the noble-born considered her just a rung below themselves. Many of the commoners regarded her as one of their own, mostly.
Two - as Kirche had indicated on the first day, there was a definite segregation between the noble-born and the common-born here. The degree depended on individuals. Some, like Kirche, were mostly polite about it and didn't make a big fuss except that she expected to be accorded due privledge by the common-born whenever possible. Louise, on the other hand, seemed to have quite the temper and had threatened more than one peasant with a flogging. Though maybe she was just high-strung.
Three was that ALL of the nobles had some sort of jutsu inherited through their families and they pointed to those talents as proof of their superiority over peasants.
Kirche, again as an example, was fairly good at fire-based jutsu and had a handful of techniques. None as impressive as Sasuke's fireball but still. She was also the third worst cook amongst the camp, as just about anything she cooked was going to be charred beyond recognition. This part was told in whispered comment to her from Guiche.
Oh, and just as she'd been warned, Guiche was a Doton user and indiscriminate flirt. He desisted after she demonstrated that while her strength wasn't at the level of Sasuke - she still had a grip that could break the bones of delicate noblemen who put their hands on places they should not.
Sighing and shaking her head at the usual bustle of the camp at dinnertime, she accepted a bowl of stew from Siesta and settled in with the commoners today for the meal.
"So her name is Sakura?" asked Naruto. "One of the monks told me awhile back that the universe seemed to like irony."
"I've noticed that myself," admitted Kakashi.
"So, is she a ninja?" asked Naruto, curious.
"Not so much as I understand it," said Kakashi. "She's-"
