There was the Seelie Court, sometimes known as the Summer Court.
Queen Titania looked at the scroll which had just appeared. Her glance went to a courtier on the side. That courtier, a troll, cautiously approached it and then pulled a pair of tiny little glasses out and perched them on his nose.
"Well?" asked Queen Titania.
"It's a standard summoning contract, Type IV, My Queen," said the troll as he looked it over. "Signed by a Hinata Hyuga."
"That's not a European name is it?" asked the Queen, her gaze falling upon another courtier.
"No, My Queen," said a dryad. "It's a Japanese name. Both names translate roughly out to 'sun-touched field' I think."
"Ah, an auspicious name for a summoner tied to my Court then," said the Queen with a nod. "Very well. Conditional approval."
"So who do we send?" asked one of the courtiers. "I'm getting the impression she's young and not having a lot of magical power to draw on."
"A child?" asked one of the other courtiers, among a muted murmur from the others of the Court.
"More than that, an innocent with a pure heart," said the elfin courtier, amazement in his voice.
The Queen blinked at that. "Riddlewind, you're certain of this?"
"Mostly," said Riddlewind, the courtier whose talents were mainly in the divination area. "She's from... a world where we haven't been. Travelling from world to world with companions."
The Queen settled back into her throne. When she spoke, it was with a voice that was as firm and unyielding as her counterpart amongst the UnSeelie would have been. "An innocent girl-child. She shall have an appropriate guardian. Erethiel."
"So, you've got a Summons?" asked Naruto. "Cool! Let me see!"
Hinata looked up from where the contract had her handprint on it, wanting to explain that she hadn't INTENDED to sign it. She was just showing Naruto how a summoning contract worked when a drop of blood and sweat had hit the parchment. Her hands had seemed to move on their own from that point.
The large roll of parchment suddenly began smoking, with the smoke corkscrewing into a single point which seemed to grow denser and denser.
Hinata blinked as the smoke behaved atypical of smoke and then formed a ring-shape.
Out of the ring came something.
"Hiya!" said the little version of Hinata with dragonfly wings that came through the smoke ring and waved. "I'm Erethiel. You're Hinata Hyuga, holder of the summoning contract for the Summer Court of the Fae, right?"
"Uhm, yes," said Hinata, sounding very nervous about all this.
"Dang, you ARE young, you've got to be what - eleven in human years?" asked Erethiel.
"Y-y-yes," admitted Hinata.
"Good," said Erethiel. "Anyway, I'm to help you out. So what are we doing anyway?"
"Okay," said Naruto, cutting his finger and putting his handprint in one spot and then signing the other appropriate spot. In order to become Hokage, you had to accomplish many impressive things. A summoning contract would help, right?
