Mizuki didn't say anything, frowning at the folder as if it had somehow offended him.
"His abilities with Holy chakra are quite useful," said Shimada, an older teacher. "His Holy chakra allows him to heal or enhance his team, his skill with the sword allows him to melee well. He can, though he often doesn't, use regular ninjutsu. I understand his Kawarimi is particularly good and his Henge is exceptional."
"If only he were an actual ninja," mumbled Mizuki just loud enough to be heard.
"Well, yes, he's awfully direct and straightforward," admitted Shimada. "What do you think, Naoko?"
The remaining teacher sighed at the single remaining folder. "Let's give him a deadline. If he can manifest a clone or physical body for Saber through Holy chakra, then he passes."
"Why manifest a body for Saber? He can already do that," said Iruka.
"I meant for one that lasts more than a minute or a single hit," said Naoko.
"So... he has to invent a new jutsu to pass?" asked Iruka skeptically.
"That would be worth it, don't you think?" asked Naoko. "The Academy Three might be useful and normally used to determine that the student has the control and memorization needed, but not everyone uses them anyway. This way he gets tested for operating under pressure as well as his ability to work out new processes. For all we know it is that singular Holy chakra that is interfering."
"Well, maybe you should run that by the Hokage," said Mizuki.
"I approve," said a voice right behind Mizuki, causing the chunin to scream in a falsetto and nearly leap out of his skin.
Saber held up a dagger and sliced the tip of one finger. A drop of blood rose up and eventually trickled to the floor. Saber stared at her finger, her face completely expressionless.
"How long will she be able to maintain this form?" asked Iruka, a bit amazed at the result.
"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz."
"Someone wake Naruto up," said Naoko.
"So, that was blood, fuuijutsu, and a lot of chakra," noted Mizuki, preparing to wake the brat up.
"The jutsu has an indefinite duration," said Saber. "A mortal blow will cause me to dissipate. Anything less I can survive and eventually heal from."
"Oh, so you know the details?" asked Naoko. "That's handy."
"I was present as he worked out the details," said Saber.
"Well," said the Hokage. "Since you are apparently permanent, I have a request for you, Saber."
