The little man sitting on a bookshelf and smoking a pipe paid her little attention at the moment.
Jiraiya made a hand sign and there was a ripple in the air as a large number of scrolls and books and some odd devices disappeared and the script on his own scroll shifted. "That's got it."
"You sure that's safe?" asked Misato.
"No," said Jiraiya. "Then again, I'm a ninja. What do I know about 'safe'?"
"Point," admitted Misato. "Well, kid?"
"I'm ready," said Naruto. "When he shut that thing-a-ma-jig off, it was like I could suddenly see the way back."
"Then let's go to their world first," said Jiraiya, indicating Misato with an incline of the head. "Then back to our world."
"Right!" said Naruto.
Elsewhere:
"Justice League Log. Addendum. September fifth, twenty hundred hours," said Black Canary, looking terribly bored. "Nothing to report. Criminal activity remains within normal averages for the most part.
"The criminal codenamed Pennywhistle was apprehended in Gotham by Batman and Bathound, with the Houndour's exceptional hearing picking up the ultrasonic signals."
"Gardevoir!"
Black Canary blinked and looked over at her pokemon. "I was just getting to that. Currently we're training the pokemon left behind by those dimensional jumpers to act as partners and backups for existing League members. Some members are taking to this idea better than others."
Evangelion world:
"Home at last!" declared Misato after verifying that this indeed WAS their world-of-origin.
"Something wrong dearie?" Happosai asked the short-haired girl.
"Is... there something wrong with me?" asked Rei, having noticed that the little gnome had grabbed Misato's breasts twice, Misato's butt three times, Asuka's chest once, Asuka's butt twice, Hinata's chest once "just to be fair", and herself - not at all.
"Well, perhaps, a bit," admitted Happosai. "But that's beside the point. Time to be going!"
"Waitaminute!" Misato pointed. "That's MY underwear!"
"And mine!" declared Asuka, also pointing.
"Oh?" asked Happosai, checking his shirt from which a few lacy-looking underthings protruded. "However did THOSE get in there? How very strange."
"I'll give you strange," promised a murderous Asuka, starting forward and then stopping when she saw the silvery dome form around the travellers.
"Teleport!" said Naruto, invoking the technique.
"Vulpix?"
Asuka absently tickled her Vulpix under the chin. "No. I think I'll just replace them. Not sure I'd want them back after that little freak had them anyway."
Konohagakure
"So," said the Hokage. "What you're saying is that Naruto's teleportation jutsu is responsible for all this?"
"Yes, that's pretty much it," admitted Jiraiya.
