If it weren't for the sky, a swirl of colors that seemed to be predominantly orange - it would be quite pretty. As it was, it was somewhat bizarre.
"Yeah, Ojiisan," said Naruto, holding up a card. "Or by this. The Door Card. I can go to and from here with that."
"Oh, what other cards have you got?" asked the Hokage.
"Just the ones I've figured out so far from the writings here," said Naruto. "Just minor stuff."
"Like what you used on Mizuki?" asked the Hokage.
"Nah, that was a little more complicated, there's a room on seals over here," said Naruto. "Course, now that I've opened it - it's kinda bound to me. But I can bring people here no problem."
"I see, but we ought to get back before too much alarm is caused by our absence," said the Hokage.
"Not a problem," said Naruto, pointing to a clock tower in the center of the castle. "It's not even been five seconds since we arrived."
"Ah, I see then," said the Hokage. "Lead on then."
"So his cards allow him to use jutsu without hand seals?" asked Ibiki, sitting across the table from the Hokage as the two played a quick and informal game. Such sessions were simply used to share information and give the Hokage someone to "bounce ideas off of" after all.
"Yes, apparently he channels chakra into the card, and then the effect described on the card is invoked," said the Hokage. "He states he has much research to do on them though."
"Potentially useful though," said Ibiki with a nod. "What jutsu does he have with these cards?"
"So far, only the Door, an Invisibility," said the Hokage, "and-"
