"I see," said Tsunade, taking the decoded copy. When she'd looked it over, she nodded and dismissed the chunin.
"My lady?" asked Shizune.
"If Akatsuki is at last making their move, we have to prepare for the worst," said Tsunade. "Two teams are all I can spare. Send word to Team Guy, they'll be backing up Team Kakashi."
"The other team?" asked Shizune.
"Team Kakashi," said Tsunade. "The problem with them is that they lack a third genin."
"Should we be allowing Naruto to pursue them? They ARE after the Ninetails after all," said Shizune.
"Did you see how much Naruto blew up while sparring with Kakashi? Do you REALLY want to see him fighting INSIDE the village?" asked Tsunade.
"Uhm. That IS a good point," said Shizune, though she clearly had some reservations.
"Here he is now," said Ranma. "Hi pops! Check out this all-you-can-eat!"
The soggy panda reached for a teapot, dumped the water over himself and grabbed a hamburger. One bite and it was history. "How could you abandon your father like that!"
"Like this?" asked Ranma, abruptly vanishing.
"What? Argh. That boy," grumbled Genma.
One of the waiters nearby came closer. "Here's the bill, sir."
"Bill for what?" asked Genma. "All I... How long was Ranma eating here?"
"About five hours," said the waiter.
"And he managed to leave me with the bill," said Genma. "On the one hand, I'm very unhappy with this. On the other, I'm certainly proud of how much of my teachings have finally been learned."
"Yes?" asked the waiter.
"Bye bye," concluded Genma as he turned and ran.
Despite the number of people who'd expected that response, Genma almost made it.
"-but it will still take three days to get to Sand from here," protested Temari. "We need to-"

"-get going..." Temari's voice trailed off as she realized that all the various nin were now standing in the main plaza in front of the Kazekage's Tower.
"Instant Move no jutsu," said Naruto.
"Yosh! Truly you are burning with the fires of youth!"
Kakashi shrugged, considering it just an overpowered shunshin. "So who is this third member of my team, anyway?"
