"It's true, sir," said Teuchi of the ramen stand Ichiraku. "We've been here nearly a decade."
"I'd just heard about your shop apparently vanishing, and that just took place within the last half-hour," said the Third. "Interesting. What else can you show me about this world? We apparently do have the time."
He was 68 on the calendar. Biologically as of the recent reincarnation process, he was twenty-five years of age. He remembered everything.
"Earth Release! Earth Dragon Rush!"
Six enemies who'd been single file on the path became flashes of light and smoke as the attack formed a serpentine dragon who went through each of them in a bare second before merging with the ground again.
"Giga Fire!" said a mage, pointing her staff and forming a bird of flame to attack him.
Hiruzen smirked slightly as the blast hit, doing relatively minor damage to him. Then he brought up one hand in a one-handed tiger-seal. "Fire Release! Fire Dragon Jutsu!"
The mage managed to squeak before the dragon hit her and managed to attack her two neighbors at the same time.
"Damn, gramps, save some for the rest of us," protested Naruto.
"I wouldn't have to if you were faster getting into position," pointed out the Hokage.
"I thought I was in charge," griped Naruto.
"You are," said Hiruzen. "It's good training for you if you ever get to wear the title of Hokage. Now, you ought to take care of that cluster of ninja over there."
"Yeah, yeah," said Naruto, indicating to his samurai that they should try to flank.
"Okay, are we ready to pass this measure?" asked Naruto.
"I don't think this will work," pointed out Teuchi.
"We should be high enough level," protested Naruto.
