Sasuke paused for a moment, then figured why not? "Currently the team has no tracking skills. Even when I activate my Sharingan - one limitation is line-of-sight. There's also the ability to track specific individuals. While the Sharingan allows for instant memorization and to be able to spot fine details - a sufficiently experienced ninja is not going to leave details of their passage behind."
"Well reasoned and it would be of benefit. Done then."
"AGHHHHHH!" yelped Naruto, covering his head with his hands.
"The Yamanaka clan specializes in jutsu that mimic Telepathy with each jutsu having a specific effect relating to that. The Hyuga clan have Clairvoyance as their specific area of expertise. One could make the case for the Suna puppet masters having a form of Telekinesis going. However, in looking over your world of ninja and their constant battles - there are no clans specializing in either Precognition or Psychometry. Not to mention basic Omniscience. In fact, I don't even see someone with Aura Sight, though there are some sort of close ones like Karin Uzumaki of Kusagakure and Yugito Ni, but not quite."
"'Precognition'? 'Psychome-something'? What are those?" asked Sakura.
"Precognition - glimpses of the future. Psychometry - sensing the past. Omniscience - literally all-knowing, though usually given in smaller doses with heavy limitations as the human mind is not flexible enough to take all that in. Aura Sight in this world would be able to see someone's chakra strength, as well as a glimpse of their intent and personality."
"So, why is Naruto on the ground in a fetal position?" asked Sakura nervously.
"Hmmm. May have overdone it a bit."
"Ya think?!" exclaimed Sakura before covering her mouth with both hands and hoping the big Thing didn't squish her.
"There," said the Being, knocking Naruto out. "Now he'll recover from that. Downgrading his psychic talents a bit."
"What did you do?" asked Sakura.
"Something along the lines of Spider-man's 'Spider Sense', not quite Omniscience but fairly useful. Similar to the Sharingan's ability to predict an opponent's movement, but less dependent on sight and more far-reaching. It will also allow him to track opponents or sources of danger, by the strength of the signal. Also uprated his agility and flexibility a bit, wrapping that into the uprating of the Uzumaki bloodline. So now the Uzumaki kekkei genkai, at least with Naruto as progenitor, has: limited precognition, enhanced flexibility, enhanced stamina and recovery rates, high longevity, very high (for human) chakra reservoir, and a talent for fuuinjutsu."
"All that?" asked Sakura, staring at Naruto.
"I seriously considered giving him his mother's abilities with chakra chains, but that and red hair are latent within him. I wonder if the red hair is a Darkover reference in the original world-seed?"
"A who the what?" asked Sakura, exchanging a confused glance with Sasuke.
"Oh, the chakra chains? Those are an Uzumaki specialty. Usually bear an elemental signature depending on the ninja using them. Kushina Uzumaki's chains contained fuuinjutsu elements, while Rioshi Uzumaki had chains that carried a strong water-element nature."
"Ah," said Sakura, thinking about that. Chakra chains? Sounded useful actually.
"Now it is your turn, Sakura Haruno. Speak thy wish."
Sakura glanced up. "Ah, well, I wish-"
