Mischief Fragment - Wishcraft: Wishes twisting [Episode 263689]

by Kestral

Naruto took a deep breath. This hurt, but it was the right thing to do. "I wish... that if Sakura really wants this. That she could still be with Sasuke."

"Yes! True love triumphs!" declared Sakura.

"Self-sacrifice. Not something that makes a lot of sense, but is generally accounted 'good' - very well. An idea has been suggested."

"Something happened," said Sakura. "What just happened?"

"I removed the 'Sakura Uchiha' line and it is now 'Sakura Uzumaki'," said the Being that currently bore a resemblence to Ningauble Of The Seven Eyes.

"What? Hey, wait a minute," said Naruto. "She was adopted?"

"But what about MY family?" asked Sakura, understandably upset.

"You were adopted. After basically spitting on Naruto for several years and avoiding the hatred of the village, you learned the truth from the Haruno family when you went home after team sorting."

"Wha-" asked Sakura.

"Honey. Why do you hate Naruto Uzumaki?" asked her father.

"He's stupid, goofy, loud, annoying, dumb, obnoxious, an idiot, an orphan, and EVERYONE hates him!" said Sakura.

"You're an orphan," said Kizashi Haruno. "We told you about it when you were nine."

"Yeah, but I'm adopted," said Sakura. She hesitated. "Why do I get a feeling I'm not going to like what you're going to tell me?"

Mebuki nodded. "Because you've always been a bright girl. Both of us knew Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto's mother."

"Some of us knew her fists better than the actual kunoichi," said Kizashi with a quick grin. "The Red Hot Habanero of Konohagakure!"

"She had a title?" asked Sakura. Most ninja never stood out enough to get a nickname like that.

"She was well known and had enemies," said Mebuki Haruno. "Which is why we waited until you had made genin first."

"Pending you passing the secret test," mumbled Kizashi.

"There's a secret test?!" exclaimed Sakura.

"Well, it's kind of an open secret," qualified Kizashi.

"Dear, we still love you, you're still our little girl," said Mebuki. "But you're the daughter of Kushina Uzumaki."

"I thought you said she was Naruto's mom," said Sakura.

"Yes, she was," said Mebuki.

"But..." Sakura's eyes widened. "No. I am NOT related to that IDIOT. It has to be a mistake."

"No, actually he IS your brother. Search your feelings, you know it to be true," said Kizashi.

"He doesn't know that, of course," said Mebuki. "Someone ought to tell him though by this point. We could adopt you because not everyone knew that twins had been born that day."

"We don't look alike at all," noted Sakura.

"You're not identical twins, dear. Not all twins are." Mebuki shook her head. "He resembles his father physically, you resemble your mother physically. You got your father's intellect, he got his mother's... emotional tendencies."

Sakura brightened. "I can tell him and he'll STOP bugging me!"

"I'm Sakura's brother..." grumbled Naruto.

"Yes, and no longer an obstacle between Sakura and Sasuke."

"Yatta!" shouted Sakura.

"So Sakura has the fuuinjutsu talent of the Uzumaki clan if she wants to go that route. Also half of the Kyubi sealed within her."

"WHAT?!"

"And so we go with the three Uchiha girls engaged to Naruto. For convenience sake, I'm strengthening the likeness to characters in another timeline/story. And there we go."

"I'm not engaged to anyone in particular, am I?" asked Sakura.

"Not yet."

"That sounds ominous," noted Sakura.

"God of mischief. Deal with it. Not taking that off the table. Doesn't mean it WILL happen. Just that it CAN."

"So who are these three?" asked Sasuke, curious as to who was surviving.
