Great Will Revised: A Worthy, mated, pair of rivals, and a new home [Episode 265565]

by makutamon

Ranma made his way to the Museum of Paleontology all the while thinking about the few weeks that led up to his next visit.

Ranma was looking for Sam and Sue, who would be sparring with each other on weekends in the dojo, but today they were not there. Looking around the property, he found them in the guest rooms, both lying on the floor, tracing shapes with their claws, and looking rather bored.

"What's wrong, you two?" asked Ranma, "Don't you want to spar with each other?"

"Our sparring with each other has us both in a deadlock." said Sue, absentmindedly.

"And the humans who want to challenge us are actually no challenge." continued Sam.

"What we both need are worthy rivals that are similar, and yet separate from us." Both finished.

"I'll see what I can do." responded Ranma, a little surprised at how in sync they were.

Ranma wandered around the various galleries looking for worthy rivals to create for Sam and Sue. But which ones? Deinonychus? No, no, too small. Pachycephalosaurus? No, they're all about head-banging, not martial arts. Carnotaurus? No, those horns look like they could do some really nasty damage. He wandered for three hours, turning it all over, when he finally came to a pair of Brachiosaurs. These two skeletons had been found in such an, ahem, "interesting" position that the joke was that they had been caught mating when the meteorite hit. Ranma smiled to himself. Perfect.

Focusing his mark on the male first, Ranma repeated the process that brought Sue and Sam to the modern era. The first bit of it was the same, white outline surrounding the skeleton, purple cloud forming within, three-dimensional cloud peeling off the skeleton, but that's where the similarities ended. When the skeleton formed, then reshaped for humanoid form, everything from the top of his shoulders to the bottoms of his new feet were a bit shorter than Sam's own, the two feet of neck more than made up for it, as well as the fact that the skeleton was a lot thicker, not to mention that the tail was about a foot longer than Sam or Sue's tail, and he also had three fingers and a thumb, not two fingers and a thumb, like Sam or Sue. The internal organs formed just fine, but they looked a little different than what Sue and Sam had, and the brain case was swelling up, but not to the extent of Sam or Sue's brain case. Then the muscular systems formed, than swelled, and it was revealed that the larger skeleton was to support muscles that were larger than Sam's by two or three inches. Finally the skin and scales formed, which were revealed to be a few shades darker than a pale blue-grey. As consciousness took hold of the male, Ranma got to work on the female, who got to be an 1.5 inches shorter than the male, as well as a little less muscular, but with a bust that was 1.5 cup sizes larger than Sue, and thighs, hips, and buttocks that were definitely larger than Sue's.

After welcoming Barbra (the female) and Gordon (the male) to the 21st century, Ranma set out to set them up for life among humans.

The Really, Really, Big 'n' Tall Store surprised to see Ranma again, but this time with two sauropods, decided to offer him a membership card, which would grant him a 15% discount on all purchases over 10,000 yen, as well as 5% of yen spent becoming points to redeem for exclusive gear from the store, but nowhere else. Barbra managed to get both tops and bottoms for herself, but Gordon couldn't find any tops that could fit both his neck and his bulk, so he had to make do with bottoms only. It also turned out that neither of them liked the perfume counter.

When it was time for them both to eat, Ranma was a little surprised when Barbra and Gordon picked up two or three hand-sized (our hands, not their hands) stones and swallowed them. They explained to him that when they were reborn, their gastroliths (the stones they swallowed to help with their digestion processes) hadn't been reborn with them, so they had to get new ones. Afterwards, it was revealed that they could only eat plants, so Ranma took them to a salad place, where they ordered large salads, without the croutons or the bacon bits, but several different salad dressings, which they were surprised to find made the leaves taste a lot better.

When Ranma, Barbra, and Gordon finally made it back to the Tendo Dojo, Sam and Sue immediately knew that Ranma had been true to his word. They immediately went to the dojo to spar with each other.

"I've been in this world longer than you have, long-neck." growled out Sam, going into a ready pose, "You think you can win against me?"

"Bring it on, sharptooth." answered Gordon, bracing himself. While Sam fought Gordon, and Sue fought Barbra, it was revealed that Gordon and Barbra's martial arts style was somewhat different than Sue or Sam's. Sue and Sam seemed to favor dealing large, lingering damage, while Barbra and Gordon seemed to favor a style that both withstood damage, and dealt it. While Ranma looked on the sparring pair with pride, Nabiki noticed a problem.

"Ranma, honey?" said Nabiki, going up to him.

"Hm?" asked Ranma, feeling as though a happy balloon was swelling up inside of him.

"You can't keep bringing home new friends like this. " Nabiki informed him, "There isn't enough room for you to do so. There is already not enough room here for the four of your new friends." Ranma stopped grinning, feeling as though the happy balloon inside of him had just got a puncture. But just as he was beginning to think about how to deal with this, his mother came in, holding a newspaper and looking like she had just stopped a serious case of crying. As it turned out, her Grandpa Kamiya had just died, but he had left the beachfront commune he had owned to his great-grandson. Ranma, looking at the article, thought 'Ask and the gods shall provide.' He then gathered up his new friends and broke the news to them that they were moving to a commune in order to get more space. Although a little upset about moving to a new area (who wouldn't be), they were glad that they were going to get more space.
