Ranma was only just emerging out of the Neko-ken mind, when she saw (and smelled) something that flipped all her neurochemical triggers and put her right back under. She saw another kitty, just like herself, and it smelled familiar. Ranma inhaled deeply.
A brilliant smile lit up her face. Why, this was the nice one with the tingly fingers that made her feel so wonderful up on the roof! And it smelled even better now! Neuroelectrical pulses surged down ancient, inherited pathways and triggered certain desires. Appropriate behaviour patterns, both inborn and learned through observation, were executed.
Ranma turned around and lifted her tail high.
Akane-neko sniffed the air.
Her mind had been under considerable strain, trying to balance her pride and anxious independence with her growing passion for Ranma. For far too long she had suppressed the knowledge that she didn't want to admit to anyone, least of all herself - namely that she'd love to lick Ranma all over in any of his forms, including his most recent catgirl one. The confrontation with an undeniable record of the outward manifestation of her desires had thrown her mind into disarray.
And now this.
Right, said Akane's subconscious. That's it. Time for a vacation. With the conscious still being stunned, it handed the reins over to Akane's animal mind from the Id. Have fun, kid. I'm off to Nirvana for some serious relaxation.
Akane smelled something. It smelled nice!
He saw another kitty, just like him, and it smelled familiar. It was the one that tasted so good and felt so soft and fuzzy!
Akane padded forwards, wanting to taste some more of that, but he found that there was something in the way - it was Ranma's boxers. He extended the claws on his right forepaw, ready to shred the barrier and lay the most fragrant and tasty part of Ranma's anatomy bare.
<Splish, splatter>
"Oh no, you don't!" said Nabiki, as she poured hot water over the two cats, reverting both to human and the opposite gender. At least not until I had time to set up some professional video equipment and studio lights, she thought.
Ranma found himself suddenly lucid, kneeling on all fours, and presenting an uncomfortably wet pair of boxers to Akane.
Akane found herself suddenly lucid, shorn of her usual protective denial, and with her face inches from Ranma's butt, which still smelled enticingly of catgirl.
Instantly they teleported to opposite corners of the room - or at least that's what it looked like to Nabiki. Then the inevitable reaction to what they almost did set in.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
"Not that again," muttered Nabiki.
