She was, of course, naked. Not that this concerned her. She had been made up and prepped expertly. No body hair beyond eyebrows, eyelashes, and scalp. Every blemish removed, the skin made soft and pliant. Manicure, pedicure, and light makeup applied and made permanent through the use of cell dyes and microgenetic manipulation.
She smiled happily through the entire experience, and why not? She was to be sold as a Companion or a Slave Worker - not like what would have happened had the Splugorth or some similar organization captured her. "Quality products for quality customers." While she retained her past and skills, they were of no concern - as far as she was concerned they had happened to someone else. If she had need of that knowledge, she would use it on behalf of her Master or Mistress, that was all.
She had been taken in as raw material and refined. First her body, then her mind. Natural tendencies had been found and nurtured and developed. Knowledge was directly fed into the mind once it was pliable enough to be imprinted.
If she had any concern in her mind, it was that she was not owned. This was a bad thing. She needed to be owned. That was her purpose and her life, and if she was not owned and had no function, she had no reason for existing.
The catalog pages with her picture on it showed some text as well, not that she would read it without being ordered to.

Then it was off to a storage box, where she obediently folded her body to fit within and then be frozen until someone purchased her.
As the cold flowed over her, Unit 14 hoped that someone would buy her soon.
