Shampoo smiled sweetly at the man.
"(Why should we tell you?)" asked a bandage-swathed pirate.
"(You do not have to say anything,)" Shampoo informed the pirate.
"(Huh?)" The pirate didn't quite understand this.
"(That one's been clawed, that one's been bitten, that one's been... Do I really need to go into details? So I don't need to know if Ranma and his pets went through here.)" Shampoo continued to smile at the pirate.
"(Then what do you want?)" stalled the pirate.
"(Description of the boat they stole off of you would be nice,)" said Shampoo. "(Of course I could check your office.)"
The pirate grinned at her. "(On second thought, maybe you'd like to stay for our... party.)"
Shampoo gave the pirate a clearly condescending look. "(You've got five guys with cutlasses behind me to cut off my escape. Not necessary. I'm not going to flee.)"
The pirate gave her a lecherous once over. "(Oh yeah, I know you won't.)"

Holding her sword up to the pirate's throat, Shampoo smiled back. "(No. I'm not going to flee. Because by the time your men can come even three feet closer to me, you're going to end up a good deal shorter. Now, do we have an understanding?)"
Genma sat back. Hot water, a meal, and at last he'd gotten away from that crazy boy turned girl.
"Oh, hey! It's nice to see another Japanese here!"
Genma stiffened and slowly looked. Yup. It was the same boy he'd thrown in the pool. The same boy who turned into a girl at odd times. The same girl who had been chasing him around and apparently flattening innocent pandas all over China.
Genma finally drew breath again, remembering the boy had never seen him as Genma human, just as the evil panda named Genma. "Oh, right. Always nice to see another friendly face."
Now all he had to do was avoid cold water until he could get away.
No problem, right?
Ukyo followed the "animal circus" up to this valley with the weird poles. Some kind of training ground?
Hmph. No Ranma. Maybe that guy in the Mao suit knew where they'd gone.
"(How did that boy get lost again?)"
"(Patience sister, I am the best tracker in the Nichieju, but this boy's trail wanders about like a bee that's been dipping into the medicinal vapors. He crosses his own trail so many times that just sorting it out takes longer than you'd think. We'll find him. It will just take time.)"
"(Well, once we do find him we'll have to decide who gets to give him the Kiss Of Marriage,)" said one of the Amazons. "(He did defeat us in combat, after all.)"
The "Smuggler's Paradiso" scraped away from the Chinese junk. The ghost pirates swarming on the deck of the other vessel looked unhappy.
Hotaru's "cursed" catgirl form was very short. Her "natural" anthromorph cat form, on the other hand, was BIG. She'd been just a bit larger the size of a normal full grown cat when she'd been a kitten. As she'd grown up with Ranma - she'd really grown. Species unknown but some kind of purple/black furred leopard was the usual consensus. And as she was finding out, having applied hot water to return to anthro form, she was strong in anthro form.
There was a loud creak of metal as the 6'8" Hotaru hefted a storage refrigerator over her head and lobbed it at the ghost ship.
Everyone watched as the ton of metal made a nice long arc before going through several decks of ship at the far end.
"(ooooo,) moaned one of the ghosts. "(She got Kenny..... the bastiches.)"
Ranma was stuck. He had absolutely no knowledge of piloting ships and there were other shapes dimly visible through the fog.
"Ship hoooooo," hooted Setsuna, who didn't seem inconvenienced by the fog. "Hard to starboard!"
"What?!" Usagi called out from the steering area.
"Go right," qualified Setsuna.
"Which way is right?!!"
scrrrrrrruunnnnnnnnchhhhhhhhhh
"Oh heck, what are these?" Minako asked with disgust.
Ranma couldn't believe it. "They look like...."
