It took Jetfire three hours to clear all the Decepticon satellites from Earth's orbit. He had done it without interference from the Decepticons. This caused him to keep his sensors on full, he was expecting company anytime now. Well he hoped so, while it was fun destroying the satellites, he wanted some action.
All of a sudden he was picking up signals from the moon, which was odd. He quickly radioed Prime to let him know about it.
"Prime, you there?"
"Yes, Jetfire. What do you have to report?"
"All satellites have been eliminated, but there seems to be some activity on the moon. I'm not sure who it is though."
"Hmmm," Prime considered what he knew of what was happening on Earth. "Jetfire, I want you to check it out, but be careful. This is a scout mission, you are only to observe what's going on, nothing else. Got it?"
"Sure Prime, don't worry. I'll be careful, Jetfire out." He turned and started on his way to Earth's moon.
Back at the Autobot base near Lincoln, Prime wonders who could be operating on the moon. Maybe it was that new group, the Defendions. If they could get in contact with them and form an alliance, it would go a long way in helping bring about Megatron's defeat.
Back in space, we see Jetfire doing his best to approach the moon stealthily. Kind of hard to do when you’re a big white space shuttle in the otherwise darkness of space. Yet somehow he made it, whether it was great maneuvering, going around and landing on the dark side of the moon, or pure dumb luck, he wasn't about to complain.
He looked around and was not only able to identify that there was Mini-con activity, but that at one time there was a civilization on the surface of the moon. That meant the Mini-cons were probably somewhere below the surface. How did he know this? Quite easily, he saw one Mini-con enter into a tube that disappeared into the ground. That, and all the laser turrets and missile launchers popping out of the ground helped.
He may have wanted some action, but this was a little extreme. "Primus help me, this place is a slagging military base. Time to split."
