Seeing his previous fiancees, the other Tendo sisters, and at least one rival turned into new members of this 'Army,' Ranma did the only thing he could think of.
He screamed and ran as though his life depended on it.
Fortunantly for him, much of the Army was still a bit preoccupied with the 'recruiting' to notice him leaving right away. When they did catch on that their master was gone, those who were good at tracking quickly dispersed.
The hunt was on!

Meanwhile, Ranma was too busy running to notice where he was going. At least, until he was grabbed and dragged into a building.
Ranma nearly panicked, thinking that he had been caught, until he realized that the person who grabbed him was male.
Once he got his bearing, Ranma looked around him. He was standing in a hotel lobby, and around him were nearly thirty people. Most of them were men, but there were a few girls - notably a young blond with an... outrageous hairdo standing near a tall man in a tuxedo, a redhead dressed as a Shinto priestess hugging a green-haired ten year old, and a purple-haired girl wearing a long, yellow scarf.
"Tetsuya," the purple-haired girl said, "put a seal on the door. They will be hunting him soon."
A slightly chubby boy around Ranma's age pulled out an ofuda and began chanting.
"Alright," Ranma said, "What's going on?"
Most of the people in the room looked at Ranma with hostility. The purple-haired woman was not one of them, and it was she who answered. "Because of a poorly worded wish you made not too long ago," she said, "Combined with many overeager, meddling god trying to fulfill it, and one god's desire to prove a point about the virtues of the military... you have been 'gifted' with a small army of girls who only desire to serve you. Whether you want them or not. You saw how they could recruit those that did not share their ideals or desires? Well, many of those girls did not start out like that. Most would have tried to cancel the engagement... some of them never had an engagement in the first place." The woman gestured to the collected people. "These are the friends, boyfriends, lovers, husbands, or otherwise family members of those 'assimilated' into that Army. Our goal is simple - to undo what has been done. Will you help us fix your mistake, Ranma Saotome?"
Consious of the fact that many of the men here were at least decent fighters, Ranma didn't really have a choice. "Umm... sure. I guess. Who are you, anyway?"
The woman smiled. "Then welcome to the Resistance, Ranma. And my name, is Rose..."
