Red Rover/Time's Over: Nemesis, your fun fun vacation spot! [Episode 37544]

"Hmmmm. Martial artists and those who wouldn't agree to the purge were to be sent to someplace called Nemesis. Let's see. Ah, average temperature on the surface of Nemesis is -388 degrees Farenheit or -233 degrees Celsius. The caves and subterranean tunnels are slightly better at a mere -200 degrees. Hmmmm. Sounds chilly. No atmosphere to speak of. No unfrozen water. Minimal mineral deposits. No value of any sort. Ah, I see. The reporter was going to go along with these criminal elements and see how they survived there. Is there a later newspaper?"

"Not that I've found," grumbled Genma.

"Let's see, oh dear, they outlawed chocolate? Smoking? Alcohol? Well, that's fairly... martial arts?! Really, that's going a bit far!"

Genma nodded absently.

Soun looked through another section. "Eureka!"

"Been there. It's pretty cold there too," grumbled Genma. "It was on a wild goose chase as I sought knowledge of Inyuit martial arts in Alaska if I recall correctly..."

"No not that, Saotome, in the wedding section!" Soun held the newspaper up. "Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo marry even as they prepare to seperate. Ranma will go to Nemesis, sentenced for the crimes of being a bringer of chaos and a martial artist, while Akane will be purified. We did it, Saotome!"

"Any details on how we did it?" Genma asked, still going through boxes.

"Nothing there," admitted Soun. "Just the basics."

• a gently smiling Akane comes up the stairs. "But I have to turn you in. You'll understand after the purification."
• "Aha!" Genma exclaims as he looks within the book. "This looks promising!"
• "We didn't intend any of this," said a sad voice from a girl in a cheerleader outfit. "There is no crime, no hate, no want, but to do that we had to change the basic nature of humanity."
• Soun frowns. "Wait a minute. What's this about Akane being 'the last surviving member of the Tendo family'?"
