Mara's reaction was simple. "GAKK!"
Two nearby succubi were consoling a minor (third class) demoness. "There, there, who the heavens expects superheroes to go showing up?"
"Now, because it was a mortal who did it, I'm banned from the mortal plane for 101 years," grumbled the demoness. "How am I supposed to make quota?!"
"Better than if a goddess had done the deed, then you'd be stone cold dead," pointed out a succubi helpfully.
"Excuse me," said Mara, trying to keep calm. "Did you say 'Sailor Mercury'?!"
"Yuppers," said the demoness. "I'm just spreading out corruption on the mortal plane in a jewelry store setting, making my quota and to spare - when BAM! In walks Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury."
Mara twitched.
"Though they're not much like the stories, I could swear that Sailor Mars' hammer is made by the same dwarves who did up Mjolnir. And dat Mercury boitch SHOT me! I don't get no respect!"
Her Brooklynn accent coming in enough to indicate that she was getting drunk, the two succubi on either side quickly lifted her wallet and continued to show sympathy - now they'd be going after her pocket change once she was completely out of it.
Mara staggered back to her seat, vaguely aware she'd just pulled out a chunk of her own hair. TWO Sailor Senshi?! This was not good. She needed a plan.
