Setsuna considered Ranma a moment longer, then shook her head. "My Princess is what's most important. And the senshi." With a thought she looked at the current life of Ami Mizuno.
Ami was sitting at the desk in her room studying a large stack of books. 'Well, it seems some things are still unchanged.'
Suddenly Ami slammed her book shut and pushed back from the desk with a snarl. 'Spoke to soon' Setsuna thought as she followed Sailor Mercury as she walked to a corner of the room where an esil was set up.
With the efficiency of practice, the blue haired girl squeezed small amounts of paint onto a pallet. Dipping a brush into thinner she mixed the two colors and started applying it to partially completed work.
"Ok, this is new." With a gesture she started looking backward. So much of Ami's life was unchanged, except for. . . Oh. During the final battle with Beryl and Metallia, Ranma and the gatekeepers had gotten involved, and Ranma had opened his gate. And the outflow of chaos energy had impacted all the senshi's lives. Ami had found herself suffering horrific nightmares, which she discovered she could diminish and dispel by painting them. Which had brought the artistic talent she had inherited from her father to the surface. "Poor Girl, she was always much closer to her mother than her father, and when she does gain new common ground with him she was forced into it."
Looking back to the fight with Beryl, Setsuna began investigating the effects of the chaos energy on the other senshi's lives.
Sailor Venus had once been destined to never know a love that would conflict with her duty. Now thanks to Ranma, she had met and was all but engaged to her true soulmate.
Sailor Jupiter wasn't much changed. Except that her hair and eyes kept changing color. Ranma had actually let her deck him when he realized the effect wasn't going away.
And Rei. . . Setsuna winced as she looked at her history. "The shrine hit by a meteorite, getting sent to that School, her father forced to leave office due to a sex scandal. . ." Setsuna shook her head. "And Ranma and the gatekeepers have always her preferred target for letting out anger.
