Shadow Saber: And what of Natasha's Fate? [Episode 38304]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

The Undead Realm. Quite a dangerous place if you're not careful, (even if you're Undead). The constant struggles between those that would vy for power were always numerous. However, this time, the Lich King had a new ally backing him. One that helped restore his magical powers... As such, the Undead Realm was once more under the rule of the Lich King's boney iron fist.

However, Natasha was all right. She had managed to escape the first wave of the Lich King's Undead soldiers that stormed the Monolith Tower. The vampires were forced out under the wave of vicious assaults from Undead Ghouls, Zombies, and a force none of the vampires were expecting to deal with. Wererats. Their silver bullets were hell on vampires.

However, even considering all the chaos, carnage, and vampire bloodshed, the former 'Queen of the Vampires' was now in hiding. An out of the way cave in the Bone Hills was serving as a nice resting place for Natasha and her servant/right-hand vampire/semi-boyfriend Vladimir the moment.

"Natasha..." Vladimir began to speak, after long hours of 'dead silence' between the two. "What are we going to do now? The Lich King has taken over the Tower, and will more than likely have reclaimed rule over the masses of the Undead Realm."

Nodding her head, Natasha said, "I know. None of us were expecting the wererats to get involved with this. They could actually hold crosses, and fire their silver bullets which happened to be blessed. They had the advantage over us."

"Yes, they did..." Vladimir agreed with his Queen. "But that does still not answer my question? Where shall we go? What can we do? The vampires are not going to want to attack the Lich King. Not when we have to deal with wererats weilding crosses. And they can more than certainly try to stuff stakes into us."

Crossing her arms over her chest, Natasha thought long and hard about this. It would take cunning. Planning. And a strategically placed group of allies all around to eventually bring the Lich King down. "So where am I going to ge such allies?" Nastasha mentally asked herself. She knew of no one that would risk their necks for her... Not without a heavy price anyway.

It was then Natasha's eyes widened. Noticing this, Vladimir asked, "What is it, Natasha?"

A knowing smile crept along Natasha's face. The people did it once, they might do it again. Plus, they did owe her, as it was Natasha that had gone and freed Gina from the Monolith Tower's prison when the Lich King had captured her.

Standing up, Natasha still had the smile on her face. "Vlad. We're going to one of the homes of vampire Nobility. They owe me, and I am sure that they would be more than willing to give me a Gate Scroll to pay their debt."

Raising an eyebrow, Vladimir asked, "What do we need a Gate Scroll for? Are we running away?"

"NO!" Natasha said with much conviction. "We will be heading out to the Earth Realm to gather some allies."

Vladimir raised the other eyebrow. "We have allies?"

Natasha smiled. "Of course. I'm sure the Diggers will be VERY willing to help."

Catching on, Vladimir just nodded his head, and hoped that this wouldn't blow up in their faces.
