Maybe the lack of oxygen to her brain would excuse what was about to happen.
"Oh, dear, Akane! Are you alright?" Kasumi exclaimed as she headed toward where her younger sister had fallen to her hands and knees while trying to catch her breath.
Akane nodded her head rapidly, which only her head hurt worse. "Got to... run in-... inter... fear-ance. Keep daddy... from knowing... where Nabiki going..."
Kasumi frowned. "Why do you need to keep daddy from knowing where Nabiki is going? What's going on Akane?"
Akane gulped. She couldn't possibly deny Kasumi. "Nabiki and that - that boy are going to see his mommy."
"WHAT?!" Genma yelled.
That was roughly when Akane realized her daddy and his friend were here. She made a promise to herself that she would start working out more so she didn't get so winded any more.
Genma fumed, "Soun, I must go find Ranma now." He left without bothering to explain why. If Nodoka found Ranma again, there was no way in Hell she was going to let him take Ranma away again. She wanted to teach Ranma her family's inferior Art - after all, if it could be taught by a woman, it had to be weaker than his. That would ruin his plans for his son!
His only advantage was that there was no way Ranma remembered where his mother lived....
Then again, where did Nodoka live? He couldn't remember either.
Soun frowned as he watched Genma run off. What in the world was going on with his friend? What was so wrong with Ranma going to see is mother?
Then he realized Ranma was taking Nabiki to see his mother, and started dancing again. Oh, it was so good to know his dreams of uniting the schools would come true!
He made a note to himself to get Genma drunk after he returned. He had to make sure Ranma stayed with his fiancée, after all.
