The prison didn't have a name, as such. It was just listed as Area 107. But that didn't change that it was a prison. Normal crooks did not get sent there. Not even the exceptional or powerful ones.
Area 107 was were they sent those people that those in charge wanted to forget about. Where they didn't have to concern themselves with human rights.
And it was here that Daolon Wong was held.
His arms and legs were chained into place. A mask held his jaw closed, they fed him through a tube. This was a little slice of hell on earth.
Wong promised himself for the Nth time that he would raze the whole complex when he escaped!
Ironically, that was when the door to his cell caved in.
Daolon Wong stared in shock for a moment, as dust obscured the figure that stalked into his tiny cell... and then he grinned beneath his mask as he beheld Hak-Foo.
Hak-Foo quickly freed Doalon Wong. "I'm sorry it took me so long to find you, Master..." he said.
Wong smiled as he worked his jaw for the first time in months. Hak-Foo was his favorite kind of servant... one so obsessed with the power Wong could give him, that he'd quite willingly sign over his life and soul to the Dark Chi Wizard. "Ah, you have proven yourself quite loyal, Zhen." With a dark chant, Daolon summoned his staff. Another chant restored the crystal that insipid Chi Wizard simply called "Uncle" had cracked. "Now... I shall give you back your power..."
"Wait, master. First, I brought you some new servants. I think you will find these much more useful than those incompetents of the Dark Hand." With a wave of his hand, three new people walked in. A tall man with a knife; a shorter and broader, dark skinned man with dreadlocks, and a third who was of large height and weight... while not nearly so much as Tohru, was still impressive. "These are El Gato, Damnd, and Edi.e. They helped me escape and rescued you, with the promise of power."
Doalon looked over the trio, and liked what he saw. "You, approve of these men?"
"They at least know how to fight with more competence than those other bunglers."
"Then you have proven your worth to me again!"
"Hey, Mon!" The one named Damnd suddenly said. "We don' have time for all dis! We need ta get goin'."
"Oh, don't worry. This won't take long at all... Gun, Chui, Ren, Zhen!" And with that chant, the four men were lost in purple smoke as they began the transformation into Dark Chi Warriors.
But while they were transforming, Daolon Wong felt an energy... a source of dark chi the likes of which he'd only encountered once before... and that hadn't been nearly as powerful as this one...
"Could it be?" Daolon asked himself. "More shards of the Jewel of Four Souls... somewhere near? Now?" He grinned evilly. A single small sliver had increased his power ten fold, until he lost it in battle... and the size or amount of the shards necessary for him to feel it all the way out here... he would be truly unstoppable then!
He turned to his new warriors. Oh, he had his plans.
But first...

The desert sky was lit with an unholy light as Area 107 burned to the ground.
WHAP!! "What did Uncle tell you about using Generic Something Else's?!"
"That was the last guy! And you're not my uncle! Go away!
WHAP!! WHAP!! "Authors should have more respect for their elders..."
