It was at that moment that the doorbell rang. Not wanting to disturb any of his family, he shouted out that he was going to get it and opened the door. "May I help you?" He asked.
The young man, clearly part Japanese, eyed him silently for a few seconds before replying. Theodore looked at the red and black chinese clothing the young man was wearing and noticed that they were showing more than a bit of wear. The large backpack seemed to weigh more than the man's frame could reasonably support. "Yeah, I'm looking for a mister Theodore Diggers." He responded.
"That's me." Doctor Diggers smiled, opening the door and waving the young man in. "How can I help you?"
"You're Theodore Diggers?" The young man asked quietly, his gaze narrowed as he took in the details of the older man in front of him.
"Yes." The aura mage replied carefully, his instincts telling him that something was really wrong.
"Your wife is under a curse that makes it so ya can't see her?" The young man asked, clearly seeking clarificatin.
"Not anymore. The curse was broken." Theodore replied slowly. "How did you know that?"
The young man waved the question away. "My mom told me." He said, staring at the older man in the eye. "Soatome Nodoka... remember her?"
"Soatome Nod... uh oh." He had started off in confusion before recognition settled in. Now his danger sense was banging and yelling very loudly.
The young man nodded his head, never taking his eyes off the other man's face. "Congratulations... father... it's a boy."
Theodore Diggers, aura mage of power, husband of the Armsmaster of Jade, father of three... er, four, was not a man to panic. Normally. This, however, was a special occasion. He fainted.
"Aw, man."
