Ranma's wish had been to be engaged to girls as nice as the nine Sailor Senshi. Normally, since no one can be EXACTLY as nice as another, the wish should have rewritten reality to make them official fiancees of Ranma or failing that, creating exact duplicates.
The problem was that the Great Will used Ranma's definition of fiancee. For him, a fiancee had to be a martial artist of some sorts. Never had he been engaged to girls who didn't know how to fight in some manner. Except for Jupiter and Uranus, no one qualified among the original senshi. Another solution had to be found.
The Great Will of the Universe went to work and decided to pick martial artist girls and women who had one or more common points with the Sailor Senshi, be it the mastery of an element, their personnality, their looks or their personal history. It scoured the multiverse and grabbed the girls, giving a power up to those who needed it to be on par with them. There was no senshi transformation given though since Ranma subconsciously considered them utterly ridiculous.
Ami stared at the blue-haired girl with red eyes dressed in a snug leather outfit. Kula Diamond (King of Fighters) stared back at her and kept sucking on her big lollipop. Was it her or did the air felt chilly all of a sudden ? Ami gasped as she could see ice crystals drifting around her counterpart.
Minako felt a little miffed at the fact that Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers) was her analog. She wasn't THAT bad, right ? Right ! She was the senshi of Love and having what was obviously a succubus taking a role similar to her in the opposite group was insulting !
Usagi was gushing out about all these new friends they've just made and was happily shaking hands with Chun Li (Street Fighter). Well, the chinese detective had leadership potential (Sailor Moon was supposed to be the senshi's leader, no ?) and had a similar hairdo, sorta (meatballs without odangos). Don't look at me... I don't understand how the Great Will works !
The Great Will had grabbed the first miko with a fire attack it could find to be Mars' equivalent. Nakoruru (Samurai Showdown) and her pet eagle Mamahaha would fight to protect Nature and her fiancee Ranma ! Rei wondered if she and the ainu priestess could exchange tips and techniques later.
Makoto took a good look at Mai Shiranui (King of Fighters)'s figure and looked down her shirt. She suddenly felt grossly inadequate. Life just wasn't fair. On the other hand, she would never dare wear an outfit like this. It was worse than her sailor uniform !
Hotaru and Dizzy (Guilty Gear XX) had more in common than they thought. They both possessed incredible power, enough to cause mass destruction if they wanted. Most people considered them to be monsters but they were really nice girls at heart. The tail with a cute yellow ribbon and the wings in her back marked Dizzy as something more than human however.
Haruka was unconscious at the moment and couldn't see that King (King of Fighters) was her opposite counterpart. The similarities in the physical appearance of the two blonde crossdressers were obvious to everyone though.
As for Michiru, it was Leona Heidern (King of Fighters), the hakkeshu of water, who had been selected to be Neptune's replacement in Ranma's 'sailor team'. She scowled at the sea-haired girl. No one attacked her fiance and got away with it ! They should feel lucky she didn't go riot of blood on their asses too !
Setsuna glared at a smirking Ihadurca (Evil Zone) but didn't dare attack the renegade existence. She knew she was totally outclassed in firepower. What a mess ! How could she neutralize this new menace ?
"Oooow... What hit me ?" Ranma chose this moment to confirm his continued survival to everyone.
"RANMA !!!" The sailor fighters team yelled in perfect synchronisation. They went to him and started fussing over their fiance. Some of the senshi joined them, to Setsuna's mounting displeasure.
