"Do you know the Taisho Roman era, Ranma" enquired Mihoshi
Ranma frowned in concentration...he should had paid more attention to his hisotry class. But it's hard when school was so boring!
It was after the Meiji, wasn't it? Before we got involved with the Chinese and everyone else in the Second World War?
Mihoshi giggled. So you do know something besides martial arts. It's an era of change. It was when Japan truly began to embrace the ways of the West. It was..or is a time when men are at their best...and their worst. A time of chaos if you wish. You'd fit right in." Mihoshi giggled again.
Ranma rolled his eyes. "Whatever. So now what?"
"Seek your destiny Ranma. A person like you can achieve anything in this time. You were out of place in late 20th century Japan."
Ranma frowned in thought. No more Pops. No more lech trying to splash him at every oppurtunity. No more crazy challenging him out of the blue. No more fiancees! Ranma brightened at the thought! No more Mom
Ranma shook off the gloomy thought. So, any tips on where to go?
Mihoshi pursed her lips. "Well, Tokyo is in that direction, pointing northeast. "Oh, before you go, can I have my lamp back?"
"Sure."
"Thanks." "Good Luck, Ranma". Mihoshi dived back into the lamp and lamp shimmered then vanished. Ranma looked at where she was with a bemused expression and started walking off in a northeast direction.
I wonder what happens next?
