A field somewhere
Ranma appeared With a *POP* of displaced air, still clutching the lamp.
He looked around...nothing seemed familiar..no landmarks, no anything. He proceeded to do what Ryoga would do under these circumstances. He bellowed " WHERE THE HELL AM I NOW!"
"Not where, when"
Ranma whirled around to find Mihoshi with a sad look in her eyes.
Do you remember the wish Akane made, Ranma?
Ranma nodded with a sad cast to his eyes."She said she wanted me out of her life...forever".
Mihoshi nodded. "The lamp interprested it to mean that the odds of you meeting her lifetime as next to nothing. The good news is that you are still in Japan. The bad news is that you are not in the 1990's.
"So, when am I?"
"You're in"
