So here she was now... The balcony of her room on the top of the Excalibur hotel. The hotel itself was shaped to be a magical medieval castle, with a moat around it, and fire-breathing dragon in the lobby. It wasn't a real dragon, but with setting like these, Grave Digger felt much more at home.
"Still... What to do, what to do..." Grave muttered to herself. There wasn't much to do at the moment. True she was free, but what was she going to do now? The Diggers might be looking out there for her, or there might be other forces at work.
"After all," Grave Digger thought uncomfortably. "Someone took the time to bring me back to the physical plane of existence.. But why?"
Growling, Grave Digger knew the answers were not just going to come to her. She would have to find them on her own.
"But first..." Grave Digger chuckled and went back into her hotel room. Jumping onto the bed to make herself comfortable, she used the remote control to turn the TV on... Except she did not recognize the man on CNN... "Since when the heck did Al Roker become the top news-achor for CNN?"
Continuing to watch, Grave blinked her eyes in shock as she watched television reports of anti-mutant protestors and something about a group called the 'Friends of Humanity'. It was this sort of thing that brought Grave Digger to a realization...
"I'm not in Kansas anymore..."
