But the one that she had returned to owed more to someone who had apparently decided that ancient Greek architecture fit with gothic styles. The effect, while working, resulted in a grand avenue with columns and statuary leading to a large building made of marble. Two massive wooden doors allowed entry to a caverous room with stained glass windows high in the ceiling allowing in streams of light to pool on the sufaces of the room.
And at the center, on a raised dais was the Gate of Time, still looking much as it had since she had first started to guard it.
Not even her sanctuary had been spared. It had been only a space that had been there for her to relax in while she was guarding the gate. There had been a sitting room to enjoy her tea and read, a bedroom for the occasional quick nap, and the bathroom for obvious reasons. that was the way that it had been for millenia, and she had been bothered to change it since.
Now, it was an eclectic collection of memorabilia and items in an expanded space. She now had a study that looked like something out of the Renaissance, but had items that dated from the twentieth century on. Then there was her sitting room that appeared to be taken out of a samurai epic. And her bedroom had the look of a fairy tale princess' bedroom.
Though, she had to admit the furo in the bathroom was a nice touch.
Her main problem was that she had little idea of how the other Pluto had found the time to manage all the changes. Well... how she had gotten the resources for them. It seemed to be quite a bit of work to manage something like that.
