Kodachi plucked the dart from her butt and stared for a moment before sniffing at it. "Ketamine Hydrochloride. Judging from the size of the syringe - about 50cc. How pedestrian. Who would dare attack the Black Rose of Furinkan High School with such a vulgar item?"

Kodachi staggered but plucked this one out. "Now shooting me in the navel. That is truly barbaric. Hmmm. Etomidate. Slightly better. Less pedestrian at least."

Kodachi pulled this one out of her thigh. "Taking such measures with the Black Rose..."
Phut! Phut! Phut! Phut!
Doctor Stein looked over the girl collapsed in the roadway. "Oh now I've done it. I've killed her."
"I'm not dead," protested Kodachi despite having all her muscles out on strike at the moment.
"Yes you are," argued the mad scientist, signalling for the hearse to drive up.
"I'm not ready to go on the cart," protested Kodachi.
"What's that?" asked the hearse driver.
"I'm not dead," insisted Kodachi.
"She says she's not dead," pointed out the hearse driver.
"Yes she is," countered Doctor Stein. "Taken enough general anesthetic to put two elephants down."
"I'm not dead," repeated Kodachi.
"Be stone cold dead in a minute," argued Doctor Stein, acting as if she were getting a headache.
"I can't take her like that," said the hearse driver. "There's regulations!"
"I don't want to go on the cart," said Kodachi.
"Oh don't be such a baby!" Doctor Stein wondered why one of her disguised minor minions was giving her so much trouble.
"I feel fine," proclaimed Kodachi.
"Look can you come 'round in a couple of minutes, she'll be dead by then," suggested Doctor Stein.
"Hey I've lost nine already today. Can't go waiting about, y'know?"
"I feel fine. I feel happy. Think I'll go for a little walk."
Doctor Stein was sure now that Kodachi Kuno would make a perfect servitor. All that in her system and she was dragging herself off by one arm? "You're not fooling anyone you know! When you next coming round?"
"Thursday," suggested the hearse driver.
"Isn't there something you can do?" Doctor Stein asked desperately.
"I feel fine, I feel happy," said Kodachi as she inched away.
Thwump!
Doctor Stein put away the large mallet. "Now?"
"Now," agreed the hearse driver.
