The fact that it would finally shut up the girl in the process was a bonus in her book.
Unfortunately for her, while Azusa was no longer attracted to cute things for the purpose of taking them for her own possession, she did have something in common with cats and small children. That was an attraction to flashing objects, which in this case, happened to be buttons. Specifically, the buttons on the machinery which was processing on Kodachi Kuno at the moment.
"WAI! Look! Shiny! Going to... catch you! Catch you! YAY!"
Doctor Stein looked on in dull shock as her first minion started randomly pressing buttons on the control panel for second's conversion tube. Even after managing to pull her away, she had seen that it was too late. The settings had been changed slightly and there was no time to fix them.
So she let them go and decanted the tube when the time came. There was still the hope that things had gone somewhat fine as she spread her arms out and declared, "Come out my new creation! Leave your tube and meet your Mistress!"
One pink foot came out, followed by the other, and soon an entire panther girl was standing in front of her. Other than the color, it didn't seem that anything had happened. That could be worked around, of course. Still, she hadn't said anything.
"Come! Are you not going to greet your creator? The one who has taken you from what you were, so that you may find new joy in serving her?"
Dachi-chan the Pink Panther shrugged and went over the lab, looking at everything she could find, her hips swaying to some unknown beat as she walked.
"Why me?"
Glancing at her creator, Dachi-chan picked up a vial and started examining it.
"No!" barked Doctor Stein, "Give me that! It's my latest version of my super slippery wax formula!"
Since she had been told to, the Pink Panther did as her Mistress told her to, before walking away.
"Well, at least you listen to orders," she commented, looking over the vial... and realising that it was upside down. She looked to the floor and noticed that the contents of the container had dropped to pool at her feet. Attempting to get around it, she took a step... and started slipping the instant she did so. Every movement that she took became exaggerated, and after a few moments of her feet sliding every which way, she fell to the floor with a hard 'thud'.
The vial flew up into the air and landed, right smack into the top of her head.
"Somebody must be out to get me," muttered Stein while:
