Exiled Jedi: Devious Invite [Episode 49003]

by Lionheart

The actual surprise raid was something of a disappointment.

Planning furious via telepathy with her brother, Ranko agreed to the trip, signaled communications out, then spent half a minute giving orders to her bridge crew to carry out while she went over and distracted the enemy.

The TIE fighters had withdrawn to their launching ship on orders from the Victory. With that, and the rebel troops aboard it, the convoy was now completely captured, and was staying silent until they could coordinate what to do.

Claiming problems with her docking bay because of the TIE fighter assault, Ranko demurely informed the Victory that an inter-ship shuttle was impossible, and so calmly pulled her heavy cruise up alongside the Star Destroyer to extend a boarding tube.

She had, they let her, she walked to the bridge. She'd no sooner got there than Ranma landed his Marauder on the backside of their command tower, cut his way through, poured in ahead of troops blazing away while a droid army poured in from her own heavy cruiser...

No sooner had the fight began than Naga dropped to the floor screaming and covering her face with her arms. They'd taken the bridge in a rush, sealed internal bulkheads, then hit the controls for anti-intruder/mutiny gas to floor all decks but the one they were on.

Droids cleaned out the stormtroopers while both Dreadnoughts fired to disable to engines of the Dungeon Ships. More droids invaded to cut down defending droids, guards and Imperial Sentinels. And as soon as that, Ranma was issuing orders to evacuate the freed prisoners onto the Star Destroyer while the fleet disembarked to hyperspace and the two disabled dungeon ships floated, crippled behind them with a thousand missiles each sitting in their engine rooms counting down on timers to compliment the plotted reactor overloads.

There would be fine particles of wreckage spread all over this area of space, and given the proximity of the nebula it was impossible for later viewers to tell for certain how many ships met what type of end there. It would all lend itself to a hyperspace mishap story, ships from many directions vaporizing against an uncharted asteroid that got pulverized in the impact.

A clean getaway.

Now they had a dozen & more captured Imperial crews to drop off on an already-plotted forgotten colony world, some slaves to get medical care, Obi-Wan to find, and surprises to deal with, as they discovered...
