It was not only the damage to the house that had pushed Ranma into getting a job, but it had been the major reason. (Mister Tendo had been sharpening the family sword after all.) There was his debt to Nabiki after all. And the fact that he did money too. But he was not going to get another job as a girl if he could avoid it.

Besides, he was a guy, and guys were not waitresses. But that did mean that he'd had to go out an look for work. Still, he was Ranma Saotome, and he didn't lose.
