"Yes, child?" Cologne asked.
"What going on? Who knew girl?"
"Nuku Nuku?"
"Yes!"
"It's very simple. She's going to be staying with us."
"Why?"
"Because I'm thinking of adopting her into the clan."
"You is?"
The Matriarch nodded. "If things head that way, yes."
"But..."
"Is there a problem?"
Sighing, the Amazon took a few moments to steady herself before speaking. "Is very strange. She do good in bashing Mousse, so Shampoo want to tell her. But Shampoo no like her doing what Shampoo task."
"Really?"
"Is so."
"Well, I was hoping that you might help her learn what it means to be a good Amazon."
"You was?"
"Hmm-hm. But of you really don't want to, I can understand that."
"That still mean Shampoo no know what to do."
"You have several choices child," Cologne told her, "You can just treat her like another Amazon. You can try to out do her. Or you can try and treat her like you would a sister who need guidance."
"Shampoo see..."
"Then again, you could always ignore her, but then its your choice in the end."
"Shampoo know..."
"Well then," the Elder said as she began to pogo off, "I'll just leave you to your decision making."
As her great-grandmother departed, Shampoo frowned. She knew that she had to think of something, but she didn't know what. This was knew territory for her. But she was an Amazon and they made their choices, which in her case meant that she was going to:
