But as she listened to the sounds of the talking inside, it became its own kind of punishment. She could remember how it had been to be free like that. Those inside were still allowed to laugh and talk as they wanted to. Inside her, she wished that she could join them.
So, she found it hard to stay quiet while she possessed the tree that she had been told to. That was hard for her, but she knew what the Mistress had ordered her to do. Whatever they were doing in there took a long time, which made the djinn wonder if they would ever come out.
Then she spotted one female making her way along the stones. By the direction that she was heading, the djinn could tell that the lone person was going to be going right underneath 'her' tree. There was no one close by, so this was the time to strike.
Moving quickly, she grabbed the female, and made her way off with:
