The Sorting Hat looked at Kodachi's mind carefully and then shouted out, "House Saotome!"
Immediately everyone in the hall, even Snape and Dumbledore, shouted out, "What the HELL?"
Kodachi blinked her eyes while her head was still covered by the hat as she tried to make since of what she had heard. "Excuse me sir," she began in most dignified manner that she could. "There is no House Saotome here at Hogwarts. How can I be sorted into a house that does not exist?" Inside her mind, the de-aged witch was grinning at the name of her new house. The thought of being in a house associated with Ranma was extremely appealing. Besides, after everything in Nerima she had seen the young witch wasn't too surprised that Ranma would get a house here if a 5th house emerged.
Dumbledore was about to speak up when he saw a fifth table rise out of the floor. He and the other teachers then gaped in shock when a fifth flag unfurled next to the four house flags. This new flag featured a charging black stallion on a green background. Everyone then whipped their heads around as a rumbling sound herald a new hourglass filled with black gems by the other counters. Hogwarts's fifth house was born.
The Sorting hat then spoke in a powerful and ancient voice. "Four Houses there were: Courage, Knowledge, Loyalty, and Cunning they stood for. Now five their shall be for Cunning has lost its way to that of the Cowardly and its ambition has fallen to amorality. Slytherin's soul tolerates the dishonor no more and has forsaken magic for the muggle martial way. But a boon has been granted him whose name is besmirched so by the bastard of his blood. Ambition and Cunning have long resided in Slytherin, now Saotome's soul, and so shall they rest in his soul's new house so mote that be!"
Silence descended on the Great Hall for a few minutes as no one was sure how to take the sudden change. The teachers and most of the students were staring at the new house table in shock trying to comprehend what had just happened. Over at the Slytherin table silent pandemonium reign. the junior death eaters were in near catatonia while the neutral leaning Slytherins were eyeing each other and the new table with knowing grins. Dozens of voices then broke the silence shouting out, "Professor, I request to be resorted!"
