Harry Potter smiled tightly as Tom Riddle drank the potion, a potion that the reborn dark lord thought was a 'Polyjuice' Potion.
Oh, it was a potion alright. But it was a potion that he had discovered hidding in the depths of the library tomes. It was serendipity that Voldemort or rather Tom Riddle -was- the 'heir of Slytherin' as he had thought.
Some quick talking and logic and Tom Riddle was drinking the potion.
Harry smiled coldly. Yes, he hated Voldemort and wanted him dead and thus wanted a secret weapon at his control. But a secret weapon that he could control.
A secret weapon such as the knowledge and power of a young Voldemort trapped and concealed in a body and mind that was innocent and hidden from everyone's suspicion and who worshipped him and the ground he walked on.
A person who liked him enough, despite him being in the house that the Dark Lord had came from, that she had joined him in Slytherin rather then her family members in Gryffindor.
Harry Potter watched as Tom Riddle finished drinking the potion before speaking. "By the way... that wasn't a Polyjuice Potion."
Ginny fell to the ground as Tom Riddle started to convulse and started to fade. "Wha... waht have you done?!? You..."
"Revenge is a dish served cold," Harry noted with a cold look that made his glasses reflect the light in the Chamber of Secrets ominiously. "And this gives me a secret weapon, you power, your knowledge... but a mind and body that worships me, Ginny Weasely will have everything you had on top of her own natural abilities. Pity, you won't be able to influence her. At least, not any more."
With that, Harry Potter threw the black journal into the air and uttered words that he shouldn't have known to cast a spell that was very well known in the Wizarding world. "Avada Kadavra!"
With a final scriek, Tom Riddle vanished.
Kodachi and Ron blinked as they finally found Harry being supported by Ginny and staggering out of the a collapsed pipe.
"Ron!"
"Ginny!"
